Keeping Calm and Carrying On

Good morning from us on Lake Fairview. We made it through the day yesterday and learned more and more. We do still have a night nurse through tonight so I have slept in a bed for about 5 nights now. That’s new! It was May the last time I slept in a bed. I’ve been in chairs that recline or fold out next to Zane in hospitals for so long I’m still not used to being able to stretch my legs!

Thanks to my backup crew for stepping in and lending a hand yesterday. Marla and Manny brought over all the goodies for a southern fried homedown breakfast. Manny went deep sea fishing the day before, so dinner was his freshly caught red snapper. All was delicious. My girl Shan came and got my laundry, ran to grocery for me, and brought back clean laundry. And big time thanks to Duane my RN mate who came and checked on Zane and will come again today and going forward when I need some nursing help. What a blessing.
