18 Months TO THE DAY...Back where it all started :(

So emotional. We’ve come full circle. We’re back where it all began. The. Same. Room. I'm writing you from the 11th floor in the Ginsberg Tower at AdventHealth Orlando...Neuro ICU.

Let me start from the new start, which was this morning. I woke to Zane having DEFINITE seizures. Twitching, moaning, eyes rapidly blinking & darting about, face contortions, etc. 911 called and ambulance ride over to ER. Ativan stopped the seizure, but CT scan showed enlarged ventricles and blood on the brain. His white blood cell count is high which indicates infection. He's been given antibiotics for that. Then, admitted to Neuro ICU. MRI images were taken and we should have more results tomorrow morning on that. Surreal to be right back where this all kicked off November 16, 2019.

I’ll go on record saying that if Zane’s Medicaid insurance had not denied his scans to this point, we would have known about this chronic brain bleed. So trust me when I say this will be a bloodbath. I hadn’t updated everyone yet but I brought in big guns last week and I now have AHCA calling me. The Agency for Healthcare Administration. I expect results from our calls last week tomorrow. Oh. But wait. Zane's newest set of issues will be blood on their hands. Because this could have been detected.

Zane is resting well for the time being and undergoing and overnight EEG test. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. #MakeZaneBetter
